Job description

Empowering Independence (helping individuals develop essential life skills, from cooking and budgeting to household tasks) Community Access (supporting individuals to get out and about to college, shopping, hobbies, and social activities) Personal care (providing dignified support with bathing, dressing, and grooming as required) Medication support (collecting prescriptions, providing reminders, and administration) Emotional support (being a consistent, encouraging presence to help build confidence and self-esteem)

Qualifications

What You’ll Need (Besides a Cape!)

• Driving Requirement: Access to a vehicle and a full driving licence is strictly required due to the community-based nature of this role covering SS13, SS14, and SS15.
• Genuine compassion and respect for others (kindness goes a long way!)
• A positive, energetic, and proactive attitude (as resilient as a rubber band and eager to learn)
• Strong communication and listening skills (that would make a UN diplomat jealous)
• Problem-solving abilities
• Reliability and a caring, supportive nature
