Job summary

Nottingham Community Housing Association Ltd in Mansfield area seeks a Learning Disability Support Worker to help service users live independently with person-centred care. You’ll join a friendly, values-driven team at Ashland Road West, Sutton-in-Ashfield.

The role involves assisting with personal care, health appointments, transport, medication and daily activities. We offer £24,871–£25,371 per year, 36.5 days leave, full training and a welcoming workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Support service users with personal care, day trips, activities and social engagement.
• Administering medication as required and monitoring health needs.
• Providing emotional support and encouraging learning opportunities.
• High levels of personal care including washing, bathing, dressing and feeding (full training provided).
• Assist with domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning and laundry.
• Use hoists, wheelchairs and other equipment with training provided.
• Support individuals with challenging behaviour (full training provided).
