Job summary

MPA Recruitment is seeking Learning Disability Support Workers in Newtownabbey. We offer flexible full-time and part-time hours with weekly pay and a fast interview/registration process.

You will support service users with daily living tasks, follow support plans, promote independence, and contribute to person-centred care within a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' paid experience working with people with Learning Disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Take part in daily activities.

• Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning and budgeting.
• Promote independence wherever appropriate.
• Assist with personal care and feeding.
• Provide person-centred support to service users.

Learning Disability Support Workers – Flexible Hours & Weekly Pay
£12.80-£13.45 per hour | Newtownabbey | Full & Part-Time

As one of the main contracted suppliers to a range of independent living services across Belfast, we are recruiting Learning Disability Support Workers to join our team.

We can offer full-time or part-time hours, giving you the flexibility to pick up shifts around your current role or take on a completely new challenge.

Shift Patterns Include:

• Long Days
• Waking Nights
• Early Shifts
• Afternoon Shifts
• Twilight Shifts

Pay Rates: £12.80-13.45 per hour

Shift dependent

Your Day-to-Day Role May Include:

• Taking part in daily activities
• Following service user support plans
• Assisting with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning and budgeting
• Promoting independence wherever appropriate
• Assisting with personal care and feeding
• Providing person-centred support to service users
