Job summary

Croydon Health Services NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Learning Disability Co-Facilitator to support the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training for health and social care staff. You will co-deliver sessions online and in-person, sharing your lived experience to enhance learning alongside trainers and facilitators.

The role involves working with a multidisciplinary training team and contributing to the delivery of two training formats, a Tier 1 online webinar and a Tier 2 in-person

Qualifications

• Diagnosis of Learning Disability or Learning Disability with Autism.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work with a training team.
• Willingness to share lived experience of using health services.

Responsibilities

• Co-deliver learning disability and autism training as part of the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training team.
• Support online Tier 1 and in-person Tier 2 training sessions to approx 30 staff.
• Attend Train the Trainer programs and become an NHS England-accredited co-trainer.
