Job summary

Unique Training Solutions is offering a flexible Co-Trainer role for individuals with lived experience of autism or a learning disability in the Ipswich area and surrounding regions. This role blends online delivery from home (Tier 1) with optional, local face-to-face Tier 2 sessions within about an hour of home.

You will co-deliver Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training, supported by an experienced Facilitator Trainer, and you’ll be funded for training to become a confident trainer and ambassador

Qualifications

• Has a learning disability or autism and experiences to share.
• Passionate about improving understanding and respect.
• Confident speaking to groups or willing to build confidence.
• Willing to travel locally for face-to-face sessions.

Responsibilities

• Co-deliver Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training
• Tier 1 online sessions delivered from home
• Tier 2 face-to-face sessions within around 1 hour of your home
• Share your personal experiences in a safe, structured, and positive way
• Help health and social care staff understand what good care and communication look like
• Work closely with another trainer to deliver engaging and inclusive sessions
• Support the development of accessible and engaging training materials
• Act as a professional ambassador for people with learning disabilities
