Job summary

Thornbury Community Services in Cambridge is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Mental Health or Learning Disability services. You will deliver person-centred care in clients' homes, support daily living and help individuals achieve personal goals while building trusted relationships.

The role offers flexible shifts across days, nights and weekends, with competitive pay rates (£16.81–£21.01 per hour depending on shift) and the chance to develop through bespoke training and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 12 months UK-based experience in a community setting.
• Confidence in managing risk and using physical intervention where required.
• Confidence in utilising PBS standards within services.
• Strong personal values, ethics, dedication and stability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centered care within the client’s own home.
• Maintain safety whilst making positive risk decisions.
• Enrich life and promote independence.
