Job summary

Turning Point Scotland’s Dumfries & Galloway Learning Disabilities Services invites applications for Support Practitioners. Based across Dumfries, Castle Douglas, Lockerbie, Newton Stewart and Kirkcudbright, the role supports people to live their best lives with tailored, person-centred care.

Opportunities include full-time, part-time and relief work; salary £25,878–£26,931 (pro rata). IT skills are required and visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Provide tailored support that builds skills, independence and engagement in hobbies.
• Deliver support one-to-one, alongside others and as part of a larger team.
• Accompany the people we support to community activities, groups, holidays and shopping trips.
• Provide personal care with dignity, comfort and wellbeing at heart.
• IT skills are required for all vacancies.
• We are not able to sponsor visas.
