Qualifications

• Full GMC registration is required.
• Section 12 approval is required.
• Extensive experience in Learning Disabilities Psychiatry, including inpatient and community settings.
• Consultant-level experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychiatric care for individuals with learning disabilities across inpatient and CMHT settings.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Offer clinical supervision and support to junior medical staff.
• Ensure full compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and other relevant legislation.
