Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Consultant in Learning Disabilities Psychiatry to work a part-time locum role in Dundee, NHS client. Immediate start is available and you will join a multidisciplinary team in a busy clinical environment.

You will provide specialist psychiatric assessments, develop treatment plans, and contribute to service development initiatives, with emphasis on patient-centred care and effective collaboration.

Qualifications

• GMC registration (essential)
• Experience in learning disabilities psychiatry across inpatient and community settings
• Section 22 approval (essential)
• Strong clinical leadership and communication skills
• Commitment to delivering patient-centred care

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist psychiatric care within LD services
• Conduct assessments and formulate treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
• Participate in clinical meetings, documentation and service development
• Manage complex cases and support service development initiatives
