Job summary

Bradford Children and Families Trust is seeking a Learning and Development Officer to design and deliver high-quality training that improves services for children and families. The role drives continuous learning and supports practice improvements through evidence-based training and stakeholder collaboration.

You will promote restorative and relational working, respond to Ofsted findings and legislative changes, and maintain strong relationships across colleagues and partners.

Qualifications

• Social Work qualification required and registered with Social Work England.
• Post-qualifying award or demonstrated CPD.
• Experience delivering learning and development for safeguarding children and families (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality training that drives improvements in service delivery for children and families.
• Monitor and review training effectiveness with the manager to ensure impact.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external colleagues to promote restorative, relationship-based practice.
• Ensure the voice of the child/young person is heard alongside professionals.

Education

Social Work qualification (Degree/Dip) - recognised by Social Work England

Post-qualifying award or CPD
