Job summary

Bradford Children and Families Trust is seeking a Learning and Development Officer to design and deliver high-quality training for residential practitioners, fostering restorative and relational practice across Bradford. You will align training with local and national policies, ensuring the voices of children and families are heard and valued.

The role requires strong organisation, professional delivery, and the ability to challenge practice while supporting staff development.

Qualifications

• Develop and deliver high quality training to residential practitioners.
• Promote restorative and relational working across the service.
• Commitment to keeping up to date with legislation and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high quality engaging and informative training sessions and workshops.
• Monitor training effectiveness and impact with the manager.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external colleagues to embed restorative practice.
• Ensure child/young person voices are heard in all interactions.

Professional Social Work Qualification
