This part-time role will support the College of Health, Science and Society (CHSS), working with academic and professional staff to create a supportive learning development environment tailored to students' opportunities and challenges. It requires understanding diverse learning styles and employing relevant resources and strategies to boost student confidence and autonomy. The role involves staying updated on sector developments, participating in university meetings, and engaging in professional development and peer support schemes.
You will be qualified to graduate level or have equivalent experience, with a relevant professional qualification/certification or experience in one or more of the following:
You will demonstrate sustained CPD, knowledge, interest, and expertise in learning development and student literacy support. You should be collaborative, agile, and possess effective communication and problem-solving skills. The ability to work across different devices and systems is essential. Alignment with university values such as initiative, innovation, and inclusivity is also important.
This role is based at our Frenchay campus, with regular work at the Glenside Campus in Stapleton, Bristol. The role requires at least 75% campus presence, with some remote work options.
