Library Assistant –Stroud/Nailsworth Library – 17 In Stroud + 5hrs in Nailsworth Library=22 hours per week:
Week 1 : Monday 10.00-4.00 in Nailsworth Library (5hrs), Tuesday 2.00-5.00 (3hrs), Wednesday 1.00-4.00 (3hrs), Thursday 2.00-5.00 (3hrs), Friday 9.30- 6.30 (8hrs) , and Saturday OFF =22
Week 2 : Monday 10.00-4.00 in Nailsworth Library (5hrs), Tuesday OFF, Wednesday 1.00-4.00 (3hrs), Thursday 2.00-5.00 (3hrs), Friday 12.00-6.30 (5.5hrs) and Saturday 9.30-4.00 (5.5hrs) =22
About The Team & Role

We strive to support our local communities and all of those who live within them and the key to providing that service is the energy, skills and dedication of the people who works for usLibrary Assistants are the public face of the Library Service, you are responsible for ensuring that our users have access to all the services that the libraries provide and delivering activities and evensuch as Baby Bounce and Rhyme and Sensory Story times. You’ll need to master the library ICT systems and be able to offer basic advice on the use of computers and tablets to those who require it.
About You
An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a part time team member to the Stroud cluster of libraries within the Gloucestershire area. We are looking for a dynamic, positive and committed individual who will play a key role in the day-to-day operations, development and organisation of Stroud and Nailsworth libraries.
