Job summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to lead safeguarding, inclusion and learner support across UHDB’s Education portfolio. You will drive quality improvement, educator capability and strategic workforce development.

Working across Learning & Development and partner providers, you will shape learner experience and educational excellence, ensuring compliance with safeguarding responsibilities and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading learner support, inclusion, education, workforce development or quality improvement initiatives.
• Experience of supporting learners with additional, specialist or neurodiverse needs.
• Experience of leading projects, programmes or service improvement activity.

Responsibilities

• Act as the named Safeguarding Lead for Learning & Development and employer-provider provision.
• Develop educator capability to support diverse learner needs.
