Job summary

Colten Care is seeking a Learning & Development Business Partner to join the People Team in Ringwood. You will work with care home managers and staff to identify development needs, deliver engaging training, and evaluate impact. Regular home visits and hands-on coaching are required to ensure relevant, accessible learning.

You will travel between our homes, support compliance, grow teams, and implement learning in real time. A flexible schedule includes occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and delivering learning solutions across multiple homes.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration with care home managers.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and evaluation of training impact.

About the Role

As an L&D Business Partner, you’ll work closely with care home managers, staff, and a regional Learning and Development Advisor to identify development needs, deliver engaging training solutions, and evaluate their impact. You’ll lead on L&D projects, create tailored learning resources, including e-learning, and champion a positive culture of continuous improvement. Your role will involve regular home visits, hands-on coaching, and collaborative work with internal and external partners to ensure training is relevant, accessible, and effective.

You’ll be a key contact for homes in your region, supporting them to meet compliance standards, grow their teams, and apply learning in real-time. Your influence will help drive both personal growth and organisational excellence.

About You

You are a confident communicator, skilled in building strong relationships at all levels. With experience in project delivery, stakeholder management, training delivery, learning needs analysis, and coaching, you bring both strategic thinking and hands-on capability. You’re passionate about staff development, knowledgeable in adult learning principles, and comfortable delivering both in-person and virtual sessions.

You’re flexible, approachable, and committed to quality outcomes. You’ll be ready to travel between our homes and occasionally work evenings or weekends.
