Job summary

PayPoint plc is seeking a Learning and Development professional to design and deliver training for the sales teams. You will create materials, run face-to-face and virtual sessions, and own the induction for new starters, strengthening product knowledge and process understanding.

You’ll collaborate with product owners and stakeholders, continuously improving content through learner feedback and results, including field visits and on-the-job coaching.

About the role

Are you an engaging learning professional who enjoys turning complex information into practical, memorable training? We’re looking for someone with a learning and development background to help PayPoint’s sales teams perform at their best.

You’ll design and deliver learning, coaching and induction programmes that strengthen product knowledge, soft skills and process understanding. Working closely with sales colleagues, product owners and other stakeholders, you’ll create a culture of continuous learning and measurable improvement.

What you’ll be doing

• Design engaging learning materials, including playbooks, reference guides, presentations, workbooks and eLearning modules.
• Deliver practical training face to face, online and on the job, adapting your approach to different audiences and learning needs.
• Lead product, systems and project-launch training that builds confidence and encourages effective application in role.
• Own the end-to-end new starter induction experience for PayPoint sales teams, from planning and logistics through to delivery and evaluation.
• Coach individuals and groups to improve product knowledge, retailer conversations, compliance and performance.
• Spend time with field colleagues during store appointments, offering constructive feedback and agreeing practical development actions.
• Work with product owners and key stakeholders to keep content accurate, current and aligned with business priorities.
• Use assessment results, completion data and learner feedback to target support and continually improve our learning offer.
• Help simplify processes and translate business changes into clear, useful learning and support materials.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience delivering learning face to face, online and on the job.
• Strong presentation, facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of audiences.
• A flexible approach to learning, taking account of experience, accessibility and individual needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for making complex information clear and practical.
• Strong organisation, planning and administration skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the confidence to anticipate risks and take action.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

It would be great if you also have

• Experience creating eLearning modules within a learning management system, ideally Eloomi.
• Knowledge of Salesforce, Power BI or Clipchamp.
• Experience in sales, retail or a field-based role.

Please note: This role is based at our Welwyn Garden City office, where colleagues are expected to work for a minimum of three days per week, or equivalent. Regular UK travel is also required, so you’ll need a full UK driving licence and access to a car for business travel.
