Job summary

Capita, on behalf of the Royal Navy, seeks an Learning and Development Advisor/Coordinator in Gosport. The role supports Service Personnel with resettlement guidance, education pathways, and learning opportunities, with SC clearance required. Full-time 37.5 hours weekly at HMS Sultan, Portsmouth.

Salary up to £26,000, onsite facilities include parking, catering, gym and shops; multiple benefits to support personal growth and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Essential: Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
• Able to plan and prioritise resources effectively
• Flexible/Adaptable to change
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (M365) applications
• Strong administration experience

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing learning and development advice to Service Personnel throughout their careers.
• Promote and support access to funded external learning opportunities, including e-learning.
• Coordinate and deliver LDO Hub events and learner support.
• Maintain accurate education records in JPA and approve learning credit schemes.
• Organise annual L&D open days and unit-level briefings; raise awareness of resettlement support.
