Job summary

Lorien is supporting a world-leading university in London by sourcing an experienced Learning Designer / Learning Technologist for a 3.5-month contract. The role focuses on designing and delivering engaging online learning content with Moodle as the core LMS, while ensuring accessibility and data protection compliance.

The position is hybrid with around 60% onsite in London, offering an hourly rate of £35.82.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Moodle experience (essential).
• Background as Learning Designer, Learning Technologist, Instructional Designer, or similar.
• Experience designing and developing engaging online learning content.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards, copyright, and data protection.
• Experience working closely with academics/SMEs to build high-quality digital learning.
• Experience setting up assessments, submission workflows, and course structures within an LMS.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Higher Education experience.
• Knowledge of pedagogy and digital learning best practice.
• Experience with student administration systems.

We're looking for someone with:
