Job summary

The Regis School in England is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students facing a variety of challenges in literacy and numeracy. The post is 33.75 hours per week, five days a week, term-time only, with start date as soon as possible.

You will work in classrooms and withdrawal settings, mentor a group of students for up to 45 minutes each morning, and collaborate with teachers, HLTAs and Learning Coaches. We encourage flexible working options and staff development.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering literacy and numeracy support in classroom settings.
• Willingness to enroll on Level 3 TA Apprenticeship if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Provide literacy and numeracy support to students in and out of the classroom.
• Mentor a group of students for up to 45 minutes each morning.
• Supervise students at break and lunch times with structured activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, HLTA’s and Learning Coaches to support learning.
