Job summary

The Olive School, Hackney is seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to provide tailored support to pupils and help create an outstanding learning environment. You will work across one-to-one, small groups and whole class settings, supporting teachers with planning and preparation.

This role requires a caring team player with organisational ability and a commitment to helping young people succeed in a busy school setting in London. Training and a supportive environment are provided.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent
  • Experience of working with children in a school setting
  • Working knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • The ability to work one-to-one, in small groups and with whole classes
  • The ability to contribute effectively to teachers’ planning and preparation of lessons

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have the ability to effectively support learning and teaching, and to develop relationships across our school and the Star community.

Requirements

You will have:
