Prospero Teaching is seeking a Learning & Behaviour Support Assistant for the Portsmouth Area. You will support children and young people with SEMH needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and build confidence within a collaborative team of staff.
The role involves advising on strategies, delivering high-quality teaching and developing plans to meet individual needs. UK experience and safeguarding training are preferred; Right to Work in the UK is required.
As a Learning & Behaviour Support Assistant you will use your teaching experience to support children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve positive educational outcomes. Working collaboratively with pupils, families, and education professionals, you will provide specialist guidance, model effective strategies, and promote inclusive practices that support long-term success.
The successful candidate will be required to register and have passed all safeguarding/vetting checks with Prospero Teaching in order to fill this vacancy.
