Job summary

East Durham College is seeking a committed professional to drive the Staff Development Programme and deliver targeted CPD to all areas of the College. You will identify, plan, source and deliver effective CPD to fill skills gaps and help develop a highly skilled workforce, supporting an ambitious curriculum.

You will lead college CPD initiatives and develop robust CPD to underpin curriculum delivery across departments. Experience in education CPD and workforce development is advantageous.

Qualifications

• GCSE level standard education or equivalent (maths & English)
• IT qualification or demonstrable experience

Main Duties of the Role:

Your role will be to deliver an ambitious curriculum to all by driving the College Staff Development Programme and support an Ambitious Curriculum through the identification, planning, sourcing and delivery of effective and relevant CPD to all areas of the business to fill skills gaps and develop a highly skilled workforce. Leading on college initiatives from a CPD perspective and developing effective CPD to support.
