College of West Anglia is hiring a Learner Support Officer to join the Additional Learning Support team. The role supports learners with diverse needs in and out of the classroom, including those with educational health and care plans or SEND.
The post offers a supportive, community-focused environment with a strong emphasis on staff well-being and development. The position is part-time (21–35 hours per week, term-time plus up to 5 paid training days per annum) with a generous benefits package

SALARY: £13.38 - £13.59 per hour (plus a holiday enhancement of £2.66 to £2.69 per hour) (£25,749 - £26,149 per annum FTE)

Learner support officers within the additional learning support team will support a range of students both within and outside of the classroom. These are varied roles where you can expect to work with learners with educational health and care plans or recognised special educational needs in areas such as maths, English, sessions developing independent living skills and more. No two days are the same.

We have a thriving additional learning support team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength.
