College of West Anglia in Cambridge is seeking an Equine Centre Assistant to support weekends and some weekday work. You will help care for the horses, handle, clean, and assist with educational activities to protect animal welfare.

JOB TITLE: Equine Centre Assistant

SALARY: £12.76 - £12.97 (plus holiday enhancement of £2.53 - £2.57 per hour)
Due to continued growth in both student numbers and our collection of animals we are recruiting for additional Equine Centre Assistants to support us at weekends and some weekday work.
This role involves providing general day to day care for the horses including handling, cleaning, maintenance, preparation for educational activities and liaising with the team to report any changes in behaviour or condition to ensure that the welfare of the animals is our top priority.
You will work as part of a friendly team and gain great experience in working with animals.
