Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated Learner Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school. You will work with teachers to help pupils get the most from each day and support learning across early years.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, assist with SEND needs, and help create a safe, inclusive environment that builds pupils' confidence. Experience with primary-aged children is valued, and you will thrive in a collaborative school team.

The Role

As a Learner Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to help pupils get the most out of their school day. Your responsibilities may include:

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience working with primary-aged children
• Is patient, caring and approachable

• Can work effectively as part of a school team
• Is passionate about helping children develop and succeed

Experience within a school or SEND setting would be beneficial, although we would love to hear from candidates with transferable experience working with children or young people.
