Find Recruitment Group LTD in Nottingham is hiring a Learner Engagement Advisor to recruit, onboard and enrol learners across various training programmes. You will provide Information, Advice and Guidance to match applicants to suitable programmes, while ensuring equalities are observed and funding checks are carried out.

The role involves developing relationships with referral partners, maintaining records, and supporting the Engagement team in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment or interviewing.
• Excellent IT skills (spreadsheets, databases, word processing, email, internet).
• Grade 4-9 in Maths and English or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
• Driving licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and enrol learners onto training programmes ensuring KPIs are met.
• Conduct candidate interviews and provide Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) to match candidates to programmes.
• Ensure funding eligibility checks and liaise with learners.
• Follow up applicants and refer to alternative provision where needed.
• Set up and maintain records on systems/trackers; monitor assessments and PLR.
• Assist and support other Engagement team members.
• Build and maintain relationships with referral partners to identify opportunities.

Find are delighted to be supporting a Nottingham based, well-established leading training organisation to hire a Learner Engagement Advisor to join their growing team.

Our client provide a range of employment related training including Full Time Programmes, Apprenticeships, Employability, Adult Learning Loans and work experience opportunities for adults and young people from diverse backgrounds, that will enhance individuals' employment potential and qualifications.

Main purpose:

To provide an effective and efficient learner recruitment and onboarding service to our learners across all programmes, ensuring applicants are matched and enrolled onto the correct programme.

To ensure that Equality & Diversity practices are followed throughout the day-to-day activities within the engagement team, especially when dealing with learners, employers, and referral partners.

Key responsibilities:

• To recruit, onboard and enrol learners onto the relevant training programmes ensuring KPIs are met.
• To carry out interviews with candidates, providing effective Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) to ensure you match the right candidates to the right programme, first time.
• Ensure quality standards and eligibility checks for funding are carried out, liaising with the learner.
• To follow up all applicants, in a timely manner, referring to alternative provision where applicable.
• To set up and maintain accurate records on systems/trackers as required.
• To set applicants up on maths and English initial assessments and diagnostics, where applicable and monitor timely completions of these.
• Obtain prior learning records (PLR) for applicants checking for prior learning and achievement.
• To assist and support other members of the Engagement department.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with referral partners including promoting programmes across all provision to identify new opportunities.

Applicants must have:

• A transferable skill such as recruitment or interviewing.
• Excellent IT skills (spreadsheets, databases, word processing, email, internet etc.)
• Grade 4-9 in Maths and English or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
• Driving licence and own transport

The following will be helpful:

• Experience within a training or education environment
• A qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance
• Experience of guiding and supporting people
• Knowledge of government funded programmes
