Job summary

Draken Europe seeks an experienced Captain for Learjet 60XR missions, delivering safe, compliant, and efficient operations while briefing and executing specialised flight profiles with military assets.

You will collaborate with crew to meet stringent defence objectives, uphold top safety standards, and drive the evolving electronic warfare program. A strong leadership background and security-clearance eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• ATPL(A) license required or equivalent fATPL(A).
• Minimum 1,500 hours total time and 1,000 hours PIC.
• Multi-Engine IR; MCC and AUPRT training/certifications.
• Proven tactical military captaincy and airborne leadership.
• Eligible for UK MOD security clearances (subject to nationality).
• Team-first mindset with strong safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Captain Learjet 60XR missions, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operations.
• Plan, brief, and execute specialised flight profiles, including formation flying and low-level operations alongside military assets.
• Collaborate with crew to meet demanding mission objectives for government and defence customers.
• Uphold high standards of professionalism and safety, promoting best practice and CRM.
• Contribute to development of the L60XR fleet and evolving electronic warfare capability, influencing procedures and tactics.
• Represent Draken Europe professionally and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
