Job summary

Bovill & Boyd in East Kilbride is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Office Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, people and processes. You will manage stock, orders, customer service and KPI-driven performance in a busy environment.

You'll lead a hands-on team, implement Lean and 5S principles, drive continuous improvement, ensure Health & Safety compliance, and collaborate across departments to keep the business running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience managing warehouse/operations with people and processes.
• Strong leadership to motivate and develop teams.
• Experience with stock control and order processing.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and site management.
• Lean, 5S and continuous improvement experience.
• Experience using KPIs to monitor performance.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, accountable and results-driven approach.
• Ability to work independently and lead by example.
• Collaborative across departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of warehouse and office staff.
• Handle HR matters including attendance and appraisals.
• Motivate and develop employees to high performance.
• Manage stock, stocktakes and obsolescence.
• Oversee receipt, storage and despatch of goods.
• Ensure customer and supplier orders are accurate and timely.
• Monitor KPIs and implement Lean/5S improvements.
• Ensure health & safety and environmental compliance.
• Maintain CRM reporting and quarterly planning.
• Lead continuous improvement across departments.
