Job summary

Acs Business Performance is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead assembly and machining operations within a manufacturing environment. You will drive continuous improvement, develop employees and ensure targets are met while maintaining quality and efficiency.

The role requires strong people management, a proactive approach and the ability to collaborate across planning and other operational teams to optimise production and foster a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in manufacturing environments.
• Experience supervising production activities in assembly/m machining.
• Strong people management and coaching skills.
• Experience monitoring KPIs and driving performance improvements.
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with ownership mindset.
• Ability to collaborate with planning and other operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop production teams across assembly and machining operations.
• Monitor production performance against KPIs and drive improvements.
• Drive Lean manufacturing and CI initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Support development and implementation of manufacturing policies and standard practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality and overall performance.
• Deliver training and upskilling to enhance team capability.
• Lead operational improvement projects with clear objectives and deadlines.
• Coordinate with planning to optimize schedules, resources and output.
• Communicate performance and plans to stakeholders.
• Promote a positive working environment focused on teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Provide support to other operational areas when required.
