Job summary

Hillarys in Nottingham (Colwick site) seeks a Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations, translate business objectives into production plans, and deliver sustainable improvements in productivity, quality, delivery, and cost. On-site five days a week, you will own KPIs and drive continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment.

You will manage cross-functional interfaces, champion health & safety, and develop Section Leaders to achieve robust KPI performance.

Qualifications

• Must have proven leadership in manufacturing with KPI delivery.
• Strong Lean manufacturing knowledge including waste elimination and standard work.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering continuous improvement or transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Take accountability for manufacturing performance and KPIs (output, productivity, quality, on-time delivery, cost).
• Lead daily operations and embed Tiered Daily Management to monitor performance.
• Translate forecasts into efficient, output-based production plans using cycle times and capacity data.
• Optimize labour use and manage departmental budgets to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.
• Drive Lean principles including standard work, line balancing, and waste elimination.
