Nicholas Associates Group Limited in South Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Production Manager to own day-to-day manufacturing operations, drive improvements in productivity, quality, delivery and cost, and lead teams to meet demanding targets.

You will coach Team Leaders and Section Managers, plan labour and capacity, monitor KPIs, push Lean manufacturing, and work with Quality, Engineering and Planning to sustain safe, efficient production.

Formación

• Five years of experience in a Production Management role within manufacturing.
• Experience leading production teams and managing supervisory roles.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing knowledge and continuous improvement experience.
• Proven ability to improve productivity, throughput and on-time delivery.
• Experience in production planning, capacity management and workforce optimisation.
• Ability to interpret production data, monitor KPIs and make decisions.
• Experience managing overtime and direct labour costs against budgets.
• Knowledge of quality, health & safety and environmental standards.
• Experience with ERP systems and Excel.
• Engineering degree or substantial relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage production operations to achieve output, quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Coach and develop Team Leaders and Section Managers to raise performance.
• Plan labour, materials, equipment and capacity to match changing business needs.
• Monitor production performance through KPIs and implement actions.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve throughput.
• Drive Lean initiatives, reduce waste and standardise processes.
• Encourage employee involvement to implement improvements.
• Manage overtime and direct labour costs to meet objectives.
• Review capacity and adjust resources for demand changes.
• Support new product introductions and process changes.
• Ensure machinery and processes have preventative maintenance.
• Maintain high standards of quality, health & safety and environment.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Planning and Maintenance to improve performance.
• Ensure HR policies, training and employee development are followed.
