Job summary

• Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Practical knowledge of lean manufacturing, waste reduction and process optimization.
• Experience with 5S implementation and delivering measurable improvements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Work with Operations Manager and Team Leaders to implement and develop a 5S programme, reducing waste and maintaining a safe, organized workplace.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement activities to increase operational efficiency and hit production targets.
• Apply lean principles to identify waste and drive sustainable improvements in processes.
• Support production teams with structured problem-solving and process optimization.
• Ensure risk assessments are established and reviewed across operational processes.
• Support Health & Safety initiatives and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Deliver operator training and contribute to workforce development with Production and Technical teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed best practices and continuous improvement across the business.
• Promote lean methodologies and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
