Job summary

Severn Trent Plc is seeking a proactive Water Network Technician to join the Water Network Operations and Leakage team in Gloucestershire. You will own a designated patch of DMAs, investigate leakage, and work to reduce unaccounted water while engaging with customers and stakeholders in the field.

The role requires a Full UK Driving Licence, 40 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM), and a willingness to travel across Gloucestershire with a company van.

Qualifications

• Field experience in water leakage detection and reduction.
• Customer-focused with safety as a priority.
• Willingness to travel across Gloucestershire and operate in the field.

Responsibilities

• Own a designated patch of District Meter Areas (DMAs) and investigate leakage.
• Identify and reduce unaccounted water across your patch.
• Interact with customers and provide feedback to operational teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Travel within Gloucestershire; operate with a company van after training.
• Work 40 hours per week, Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; standby rota participation.
