United Utilities in Penrith is seeking a Leakage Detection Technician to support water network performance and regulatory leakage targets. You will locate water losses across DMAs/DMZs, investigate leaks on the network and customer premises, and help ensure timely repairs with the NMA.

The role requires a full driving licence, strong communication, and a practical understanding of flow, pressure and water quality data. A generous benefits package accompanies the permanent, onsite position.

Responsabilités

• Carry out proactive and reactive leak detection across the network using specialist techniques to locate water losses.
• Investigate, manage and elevate leaks on the water network and customer premises, raising repairs.
• Analyse flow, pressure and water quality data to identify areas of concern and support performance improvements.
• Collaborate with repair, maintenance and network operations teams to minimise disruption and support incident response.
• Complete risk assessments and ensure safety compliance.
