Job summary

Coventry City Council's Edge Out of School Club is seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic Play Leader to join our team. You will lead the staff, ensure safety, manage snacks and activities, and work with the Business team to update policies and generate invoices.

Candidates should have experience in childcare or school settings, be positive and energetic, and ready for leadership. An enhanced DBS and safeguarding clearances will be required; online checks may form part of recruitment.

Qualifications

• Experience in childcare or working in a school environment.
• Ability to lead and manage a staff team and liaise with parents.
• Willingness to undertake safeguarding and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the staff team and organise activities for children.
• Order food and supplies and manage snack times.
• Ensure the safety of children and adults on site.
• Liaise with parents and staff and model good table manners.
• Work with school business teams to update policies and assist with invoicing.
