Job summary

Coventry City Council is seeking an Out of School Club Play Leader to join Moseley Primary. The role involves leading the staff team, ensuring child and adult safety, ordering food and supplies, and supporting the before- and after-school provision in a well-resourced school setting.

You will work with the Business team to update policies, supervise games, assist with snack, liaise with parents, and uphold statutory safeguarding requirements including enhanced DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in childcare or school environment; readiness for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the staff team.
• Order food and supplies.
• Ensure safety for children and adults.
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
• Supervise and organise games for children.
• Prepare and assist with snacks.
• Work with Business team to update policies and assist with invoices.
• Model good table manners.
• Liaise with parents and staff.
