Moseley Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic Out of School Club Play Leader to join our Edge Club. This role covers before and after-school care, working 22.5 hours per week across the 7:30am–9:00am and 3:00pm–6:00pm sessions, five days a week, with 38+2 training days.

You will lead a friendly team in a well-resourced, purpose-built club. You will be a Designated Safeguarding Lead, manage snacks and activities, liaise with parents, and help update policies with the Business team.

Weeks: 38+ 2 days for training

Full Time Salary: Grade 4 SCP £26,847 to SCP 14 £30,515

Actual Salary: Grade 4 SCP 6 - £16,570 to SCP 14 £18,837

Includes 1.5% split shift allowance

You will be a key part of the staff team and will have the autonomy to make decisions about our before and after-school provision. The club is located in a purpose-built part of school which is extremely well resourced with its own outdoor play area.The team of play workers is experienced and very welcoming.

We wish to appoint a hardworking, enthusiastic, trustworthy and committed Out of School Club Play Leader to join our team. Our Out of School Club (Edge) is very popular with families and the existing staff team are experienced and of a very high quality.

Main duties include:

• Leading the staff team
• Ordering food and supplies
• Ensuring all children and adults are safe
• Acting as a DSL
• Supervising and organising games for children to play
• Preparing and assisting children with their snack
• Working in partnership with the Business team to update policies and assist with generating invoices
• Modelling good table manners
• Liaise with parents and staff
