Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Workshop Supervisor (Automotive / Leisure) in Ripley. The role offers £40,000 – £44,000 plus Private Medical Insurance, 4% Pension, Employee Discount, Training, Progression and Overtime.

You will lead an experienced team while remaining hands-on with servicing, repairs and diagnostics in a busy workshop. The successful candidate will take day-to-day ownership, plan workloads, manage productivity and work with the Operations Manager to optimise the workshop

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Workshop Foreman, Senior Technician or similar.
• Strong practical technical knowledge and hands-on workshop experience.
• Experience within the automotive industry.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day ownership of the workshop and its performance.
• Lead, support and provide direction to an experienced team of technicians.
• Plan workshop workloads and allocate jobs effectively across the team.
• Manage technician productivity and utilisation.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager to manage the workshop diary and upcoming workload.
