Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Lead Workface Planner for a 12-month PAYE contract on a major site in Padeswood, Wales. You will drive workface planning, convert packages into installation work packages, and guide project execution using the O3 WFP tool.

The role targets a technically strong construction planning professional who can boost productivity, support safe delivery, and coordinate closely with subcontractor planners to remove site constraints and ensure readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience leading construction planning on large sites.
• Ability to develop and manage installation work packages.
• Proficiency with O3 WFP or similar planning tools.
• Knowledge of earned value management and document control.
• CSCS Gold card and strong safety discipline.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of workface planning on site and train subcontractors.
• Ensure detailed planning processes remove constraints for on-site installation.
• Convert packages into installation work packages with required resources.
• Utilize the O3 WFP tool to support execution and efficiency.
• Coordinate with schedulers, engineers, superintendents, and managers.
• Embed safety and quality standards into planning activities.
• Oversee creation, review, and adjustment of work packages.
• Guide and support workface planning teams for strong delivery.
• Review completed packages and drive continuous improvement.
