Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Civils & Piling Superintendent for a 12-month contract based at Padeswood, North Wales. You will supervise civil and structural subcontractors, coordinate works with other disciplines, and drive safety and quality on site.

You will report weekly on subcontractor performance, support planning and cost control, and ensure adherence to project specifications and milestones. Experience in process plant environments and ECITB safety qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising civil and structural subcontractors on live projects.
• Must have relevant discipline qualifications and up-to-date safety training.
• Experience with process plant activities and live petrochemical plants.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil and structural subcontractors on site.
• Coordinate civil and structural works with other disciplines.
• Report subcontractor performance weekly.
• Promote safety culture and conduct site safety audits.
• Review method statements and risk assessments; enforce safe delivery.
• Monitor technical performance against project specs.
• Track progress and support recovery actions.
• Assist planning with information for schedules.
• Monitor project costs and assess additional works.
