Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior People Technology Analyst to lead the design, configuration, and evolution of Workday HCM within its global People Technology platform. You will own Core HCM configurations, security policies, and reporting, partnering with HR, Payroll, and IT to ensure data integrity and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with enterprise platforms, including significant hands-on experience with Workday.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing core HCM solutions, eligibility rules, calculated fields and business processes.
• Proven ability to own and lead complex configuration domains, including defining design patterns and standards.
• Strong understanding of core HCM related business processes across multiple regions and regulatory contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business rules and policies into scalable, sustainable system configurations.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex configuration issues, including calculation logic and system behaviour.
• Hands-on experience developing Workday reports and Workday Security configuration.
• Hands-on experience with mass data uploads using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) tools.
• Experience working across multiple Workday domains and understanding cross-domain dependencies.
• Ability to guide and mentor other analysts in solution design and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead Domain Ownership & Platform Leadership for the Core HCM domain, including complex configuration design and platform evolution.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of Workday HCM initiatives: design, build, testing, deployment readiness.
• Translate complex business rules and regulatory requirements into structured system configurations.
• Provide technical leadership across workstreams and ensure solution quality.
• Support analysts in solution design and configuration, aligning with platform standards.
• Contribute to broader Workday platform design and configuration across domains (Absence & Leave, Compensation, Talent, Performance).
• Collaborate with Integration and Data specialists to ensure end-to-end solution integrity.
• Participate in platform-level design discussions, influencing architecture and governance.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across configurations and downstream consumers.
• Lead initiatives to simplify and standardise Core HCM configurations and data structures.
