Job summary

Arcadis’ Water Management team in Exeter is seeking a Principal Wastewater Modeller to lead the development of wastewater models, manage project aspects, and drive client engagement to grow Arcadis’s portfolio.

You will collaborate with water utilities and multidisciplinary teams, review models for quality, mentor junior staff, and support bids while ensuring outputs meet UK regulatory requirements such as WINEP.

Qualifications

• Advanced expertise in hydraulic modelling for wastewater projects.
• Experience leading project teams and coordinating stakeholders.
• Proficient in InfoWorks ICM; GIS skills beneficial.
• Chartered membership with ICE or CIWEM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure modelling projects.
• Review and verify sewer network models; oversee surveys and data quality.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to bids and proposals.
• Coordinate with clients and project directors to align outputs with requirements.
