Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Wastewater Modeller in Warrington to lead the development of wastewater models, manage project aspects and collaborate with clients to grow Arcadis’s project portfolio.

The role requires advanced hydraulic modelling expertise, leadership to mentor others, and strong QA/reporting skills, with a focus on delivering compliant, robust solutions for UK water networks.

Qualifications

• Advanced hydraulic modelling expertise for wastewater projects.
• Strong team and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Proficiency in InfoWorks ICM; GIS knowledge advantageous.
• Chartered membership with ICE or CIWEM preferred.
• Experience with model QA procedures and high-quality reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead wastewater modelling projects and manage tasks of varying scale.
• Review and verify sewer network models; oversee surveys and management.
• Develop strategic solutions to mitigate flooding and CSO spills.
• Mentor junior team members and guide client communications.
• Support bids with narratives, cost estimates and programmes.
• Ensure outputs meet standards and client expectations.
