Job summary

Peter Green Chilled is seeking a proactive Warehouse Pick Manager to lead our picking operation. You will motivate and develop the picking team, plan daily workloads and drive productivity to ensure accurate, on-time order fulfilment.

Reporting to the Warehouse and Operations Management Team, you will monitor KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and implement improvements. The role requires strong leadership, communication and a hands-on approach in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Proven ability to meet productivity KPIs.
• Strong communication and feedback skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the warehouse picking team to achieve daily performance targets.
• Plan and allocate daily workloads and monitor pick rates to meet productivity expectations.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Support attendance management and other duties related to people management.
• Foster a positive, high-performance culture in the picking operation.
• Ensure orders are picked accurately and on schedule for on-time delivery.
• Monitor KPIs and implement actions to improve performance.
• Train and support new starters and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Uphold health and safety policies and warehouse procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Produce daily/weekly performance updates for management.
