Job summary

GLG Vets in Aston Clinton seeks a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to provide clinical leadership in a busy first-opinion practice. You will oversee consulting, soft tissue and routine surgeries while promoting best-practice protocols and clinical governance.

You will mentor Vets, RVNs and SVNs, support CPD plans, build strong client relationships, and contribute to rota planning and workflow in a supportive, autonomous team environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in UK small-animal first opinion practice.
  • Confidence with routine surgery and consults.
  • Further certifications or a desire to pursue them welcomed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership across consulting, soft tissue and routine surgery.
  • Champion clinical governance, audits and best-practice protocols.
