Job summary

McLaren Automotive seeks a Head Of Vehicle Line to lead the delivery of Vehicle Interiors across all programs, serving as a key link between the Function Group, the Programme team and the executive group. In a matrix organisation, you will ensure accurate planning, robust delivery and clear communication of status from concept to series.

You will manage cross-functional teams, suppliers, and engineering service providers, guiding DFMEA, APQP, and design validation activities to achieve

Qualifications

• Extensive experience of automotive programmes and project delivery.
• Experience with APQP or similar frameworks and DFMEA application.
• Demonstrable commercial acumen and stakeholder management.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Vehicle Line delivery for Interiors across programs.
• Define and cascade timing plans and budgets with Function Group and Finance.
• Forecast and manage financials for program activities and supplier spend.
• Act as primary contact to ensure on-time, on-cost, high-quality delivery.
• Lead risk, DFMEA, design validation and lifecycle plans.
• Promote simultaneous engineering with stakeholders and suppliers.
