Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking a Head Of Vehicle Line to lead the delivery of Vehicle Interiors across all McLaren Programs in a matrix organisation. You will manage planning, budgeting, and cross-functional integration with exec and programme teams.

The role requires extensive experience in automotive programmes, project leadership, and DFMEA/tech specs within APQP or similar frameworks. A strong engineering background and SAP/MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Product Development processes and tools.
• Project management experience, including agile methodologies.
• Previous experience in a similar role in the Automotive industry (including Automotive suppliers of complex systems).

Responsibilities

• Define and cascade the Function Group timing plan and budgets for the project, in collaboration with the Function Group, Finance and other relevant areas of the business.
• Forecasting and status of financials for programme activities and deliverables across internal resource and supplier spend.
• Primary point of contact for the programme, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, cost, and quality.
• Lead the supplier liaison and management.
• Lead supply chain activities with suppliers, buyers, cost engineering, engineering, SQA and logistics to ensure design to cost and delivery on schedule.
