Job summary

Sky is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist in its Client Technology team within Global Enterprise IT. You will lead endpoint management initiatives, drive security controls, and deliver reliable, compliant endpoint services across Windows and mobile ecosystems, while mentoring engineers and guiding complex incidents.

The role emphasizes designing and implementing standardized processes, leveraging Intune and CyberArk, and shaping the technology roadmap.

Qualifications

• Experience with Unified Endpoint Management (Windows) in a large organisation.
• Experience leading technical change, service improvement initiatives and major incidents.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills with scripting or automation.
• Clear written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and mentor engineers within a team.
• Collaborative, reliable, detail-oriented approach to high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead Unified Endpoint Management across the estate, using Microsoft Intune to manage Windows and mobile devices, policies, compliance settings and patching.
• Manage CyberArk Endpoint Privilege Manager policies and build Privileged Access Workstation devices using Intune configuration and security policies.
• Lead the design and review of endpoint management solutions, define engineering standards and operational processes.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor juniors, and communicate updates to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Lead complex investigations, major incidents and root cause analysis, while supporting requests and platform upgrades.
• Shape the endpoint technology roadmap and drive automation via PowerShell, APIs and modern tooling; participate in on-call rota.
