Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd. is seeking an Associate Director in Leeds to lead a diverse range of transport planning projects across residential, commercial and logistics sectors. You will mentor staff, manage client relationships and contribute to the growth of the Leeds office.

The role offers hybrid working, exposure to high-profile projects, and a clear progression path toward Director level within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in transport planning consultancy.
• Strong development planning experience across sectors.
• Excellent technical report writing and project management skills.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver commercial outcomes.
• Experience leading teams and developing junior professionals.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant degree in a related discipline.
• Chartered status desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee transport planning projects from inception through to completion.
• Manage the preparation and review of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
• Provide strategic transport advice to a broad range of private and public sector clients.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Manage project budgets, resources and programme delivery.
• Support and mentor junior and intermediate team members.
• Attend client meetings, public consultations and stakeholder engagements.
• Contribute to business development, networking and winning new work.
