Aldwych Consulting in Bristol is seeking an Associate Transport Planner to join our growing team. You will lead delivery of development-led transport projects, collaborating with clients, local authorities and internal project teams.

Your role includes delivering Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and related studies, managing projects from start to finish, and supporting business development while mentoring junior colleagues. Hybrid and flexible working is available.

Qualifications

• Strong experience within a transport planning consultancy.
• Delivery of Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and development studies.
• Good understanding of the UK development planning process.
• Strong project management and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and transport studies.
• Manage projects from brief to completion.
• Be a key client and stakeholder contact.
• Provide transport planning advice to developers and landowners.
• Liaise with local authorities and industry stakeholders.
• Support business development and pursue new opportunities.
• Contribute to bids, proposals and winning work.
• Mentor junior team members and help grow the business.
